Q. What is the concept of your new song?

Jung-woo: The new album 《Countdown》is really different from before. We put in music that we’ve wanted to do. We thought that the public will come to like us if we follow our own thing. 

Q. Hongdae is to be introduced to K-culture readers.

First, what is Hongdae to Toxic?

Seul-ong: Independent! I think it is a very independent space. The stalls in the streets, the performances and the streets, I think there is a unique color to it all, just like us. It is a place that has all the things needed to enjoy culture!

Q. Can you recommend a restaurant in Hondgae? (or an attraction?)

Seul-ong: There is a tteokbokki place called ‘Gongsugan’ in front of Hongik University’s. I recommend it. I think that only in Hongdae does it offer the true taste.

Jung-woo: For the day-time, I think the flea-market that is held here from time to time is quite interesting. So I think it is very suited to Hongdae’s atmosphere. Hmm… if you want to do something at night, I’d recommend coming here on a Friday night. You have to see for yourself. (laughs).
