HOT WORD

Date December. 28. 2013   Comment 0 Comment

South Korea is the only divided country so the korean people has military obligation in its 4 main obligation. Among international fans who are unfamiliar with the military service that young stars have to go, rumors of military culture of Korea are spreading out. There are a few words good to remember when my beloved korean stars go to military service:

Real man 1. Most popular korean military song. Words by Ho Yoo, music by Hong Ryeol. Four-four time, marchlike song promoting soldiers’ pride of defending independence of the country.
Top stars who used to performance in front of millions of crowds will soon sing a song like this:

Although Born as a man, Having a lot of work to do,
You and I live in the glory of keeping our nation.
My friend made from many battles together
When the Sun rises & sets on the mountain peak,
My parents and brothers trust me &fall into sleep well.

Real man 2. Entertainment program of MBC on weekends that started its broadcast in April 14, 2013. 7 entertainers, composed of discharged/undischarged soldier and a foreigner, get around subordinate forces to experience a five day and four night military life. There was a similar program that was popular at 90’s called ‘Stage with friendship’.

Gomusin(rubbers) –It’s origin comes from the word ‘wear the rubbers back to front’ which is used when the girl changes her mind throwing her boyfriend in military service. The opinion that wearing the 2 in 1 paired shoes back to front means the change of one’s heart of the couple is the most convincing opinion. The girls who sent not only their boyfriend but also their lovely stars to the military call themselves ‘gomusin’ or ‘gomsin’. The number of members of Gomusin café in Naver is 425,043.
